“As we have started sending samples to our US food broker for distribution to key accounts in the US, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. In fact, our first shipment to the US distribution center was to be 10,000 units, however due to high interest we increased it to 16,000 units, ”said Boosh Founder and President Connie Marples. .

The company also announced, after extensive research, the hiring of TJ Walsh as vice president of sales for North America. Boosh’s newly formed sales department will report to Walsh, who will be responsible for all sales strategy, development, direction and budget. He will develop on-site business training and policy formulation, and will report directly to Marples and CEO Jim Pakulis.
“The timing of our first expedition to the United States aligns perfectly with the hiring of TJ. As we increased the number of SKUs from 6 at the start of the year to 24 SKUs today, we will need to expand our North American sales department network, and we believe TJ is the ideal candidate for the company. Boosh noted that Walsh has extensive sales experience including, but not limited to, serving as National Sales Manager for Silver Hills, an organic plant-based bakery and food company. Prior to that, he was Director of Sales for UNFI, the largest distributor of all-natural and organic products in North America.
Previously, Walsh spent eight years with Bolthouse Farms, before being promoted to Field Sales Manager. At Bolthouse Farms he was responsible for implementing a multi-million dollar sales budget, overseeing 30 sales reps, developing strategic growth plans for the sale of all new ranges. product development and merchandising and sales strategy creation for Walmart, Kroger, Target, Safeway (NYSE: SWY) / Albertsons, HEB, Loblaws, Save On, Kroger’s and Whole Foods.
“I have over fourteen years of experience selling or supervising sales teams in the health food industry in the United States and Canada.
