A 31-year-old man from Martlesham who sold prescription drugs has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Police who searched a house in Spring Road where Daniel Pugh lived with his father found a total of more than 1,800 tablets of gabapentin, oxybutynin and trimethoprim, Ipswich Crown Court heard.
Officers also found a ‘burner’ phone that contained messages consistent with the drug supply and a checklist with details of who Pugh had sold drugs to and how much they owed him, Joe Bird said. , continuing.
On another occasion, police visited premises where Pugh was living with his former partner and found cocaine worth £400.
Pugh told police he sold cannabis and sometimes drugs to fund his cocaine use.
Pugh, of Hunters Rise, Martlesham, admitted possession of cocaine, involvement in the supply of cannabis and three offenses of possession of medical products with intent to supply.
He was given an 18-month prison sentence suspended for 18 months and a 30-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
Simon Gladwell, for Pugh, said his client worked and helped look after his daughter.
